FAQs
The wedding day coverage typically include pre-ceremony preparations like the bride and groom getting ready, the ceremony, and key moments from the reception. We will capture essential parts of your day to ensure a comprehensive highlight video within the hours we are contracted to work.
Absolutely! During the onboarding process, we’ll go over your vision and preferences for the highlight film. Every couple starts with a base package that covers the essentials, and from there, you can customize and add on whatever fits your day best.
We use professional audio equipment to capture clear audio from speeches and the ceremony. Depending on the situation, we will either mic the individual person or plug into the DJ's soundboard to pull audio straight from the microphone. This audio will be integrated into the highlight video to enhance the storytelling and emotional impact while keeping to our standard of using clean high-quality audio.
A non-refundable retainer, equal to 25% is required to secure McMerrill Media and your wedding date. The retainer is due upon signing the contract. The remaining balance can be paid either on your wedding day or anytime after the retainer is submitted. Payments can be made conveniently online through your client portal, or via Venmo. To make sure we keep all recipts of transaction, we do not accept cash.
The highlight video will typically be delivered within 7 - 10 weeks after the wedding. We strive to provide a high-quality product and take the necessary time to ensure your video meets our professional standards.
The highlight video will be delivered in high-definition digital format, typically via an online download link that will direct you to your own digital folder. We also will post a private YouTube link to ensure you can easily share your video with friends and family. We can discuss options during the pre-wedding consultation if you prefer a physical copy.
If McMerrill Media can accommodate a reschedule, the initial non-refundable retainer will not be lost and will be put towards the rescheduled date. If we are no longer available or if your wedding is canceled, the retainer can not be refunded.
There are no additional taxes or fees at checkout. If you are located outside of the state of Wisconsin, there is a travel fee.
